About#
Nyctanthe is an independent studio making a hardcore MMORPG, inspired by the classics.
It will take a while. We’re perfectionists.
Our name#
Nyctanthe is the French name of the night jasmine, Nyctanthes arbor-tristis. It means “night flower”. It blooms after dusk and its flowers fall at dawn, which earned it a second name, the “tree of sorrow”.

Using the logo#
Please
- Use the white logo on dark backgrounds and the black logo on light ones.
- Leave clear space around the logo of at least a quarter of the symbol’s height.
- At small sizes, use the simplified symbol. Keep the symbol at least 16 px tall, and the full logo at least 32 px tall.
Please don’t
- Recolour, stretch or rotate it.
- Add shadows, glows or outlines.
- Retype the name or move it around the symbol.
- Place it on busy backgrounds or photos where it loses contrast.
